Who We Are
Born and raised in Leogane, Haiti, Chi Chi Lorius grew up cooking with his older brothers. After 30 years as an inspired cook around the community, he has finally used his years of cooking experience to fulfill his dream of becoming a restaurant owner.
Chi Chi is highly skilled and accredited for his knowledge in making island dishes. He enjoys to see the satisfaction all customers get from his food. His cuisine is not limited to only the island culture, but it also brings in customers of all other backgrounds.
Chez Coby is also a supporter and donator of the UHAS organization, www.uhasociety.org , who's mission and goal is to help in building schools and providing supplies to the children of Leogane, Haiti.
Chez Coby has been a supporter for the past two years and continues to support the mission of UHAS. The UHAS has acknowledged Chez Coby for their generous support and dedication for their continuous patronage.
In 2013, Chez Coby has also
donated to the Christian Basketball Tournament, www.cbtournament.org ,
who's mission is to provide a Christian environment where fellowship,
recreation, and ministry can take place. They also want to use the sport
of basketball as a tool to spread
the gospel and reach people for Christ. They want to develop within each
participant, patience, self-control, courage, good sportsmanship,
teamwork, and a Christian outlook toward sports.
The Christian Basketball Tournament provides the opportunity for each participant to develop his or her talents through a program which emphasizes Christian growth and a deeper dedication to God.
